The 91´ó»ÆÑ¼ Board of Curators on Friday, July 25, 2003 approved in executive session the following items: a resolution in support of 91´ó»ÆÑ¼ President Elson S. Floyd's decision to hire Thomas F. George as chancellor of the 91´ó»ÆÑ¼-St. Louis Campus; a 2 percent salary increase for Vice President for Human Resources Ken Hutchinson, Vice President for Academic Affairs Steve Lehmkuhle, Vice President for Finance and Administration Nikki Krawitz, 91´ó»ÆÑ¼ General Counsel Marvin Wright, and 91´ó»ÆÑ¼ Board Secretary Kathy Miller; two complimentary season football and basketball tickets for 91´ó»ÆÑ¼ General Counsel Marvin Wright; authorization for the president of the University of Missouri to establish a new position of 91´ó»ÆÑ¼ System Vice President for Governmental Affairs; and using in part private gift funding to increase the base compensation of chancellors at 91´ó»ÆÑ¼-St. Louis, 91´ó»ÆÑ¼-Kansas, and the 91´ó»ÆÑ¼-Rolla to $250,000 annually. 91´ó»ÆÑ¼-Columbia Chancellor Richard Wallace's compensation also will be increased to $250,000 annually using gift funds in part. Wallace's compensation includes continuation of a $25,000 annual housing allowance.
